LESS FRICTION. CLEAR BOUNDARIES.
A small desktop utility for repetitive permission prompts. Created by CheapskateChangar.
Bind a run to the selected app window. Choose exact permission labels; session-wide file reads and writes are separate choices. The helper rechecks the target before acting.
Detect only is on by default. Inspect eligible matches without clicking or scrolling. Stop the run before switching to approval mode.
Pause, resume or stop. Set idle, run and request limits, follow session activity, and inspect local logs. The displayed emergency shortcut requests Pause.
NEW IN STABLE 4.0.0
When Scout leaves a selected permission button below the conversation viewport, the helper can request that it scroll into view, then rescan and revalidate before approval.
Detect only never scrolls. If the app’s accessibility provider cannot reveal the control, use Scout’s down arrow manually.

Close any older helper before upgrading. Extract both files into a new folder and keep them together.
Start-PermissionHelper.batPermissionHelper.Portable.ps1
Launch the BAT file. Select the intended target window and choose only the permission actions you want handled.
Leave Detect only checked, then Start. Review matches in Session Activity against the work you actually intend to authorize.
Select Stop, clear Detect only, then Start again. Keep the session under review. Pause suspends new requests after acknowledgement; Stop ends the helper run.
BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD
No installer, Power Automate flow, extra modules or administrator access required.
The 4.0.0 release records maintainer confirmation of the live Scout hidden-permission fix. It includes Autopilot and Copilot Cowork target profiles, but this does not establish live compatibility for every host and action. Browser-hosted Autopilot is not supported.
Cowork Create/Approve matching requires the expected card structure. Always allow, More options and Replace are excluded. Ambiguous controls remain unmatched.
KNOW WHAT YOU ARE AUTHORIZING
Approval mode can grant real permissions in the selected session. Button labels do not identify the underlying operation. Session-wide file-read or file-write approval may authorize broader access than a single request. Use only with work you have reviewed and permission scope you accept.
An invoke event or disappearing prompt does not prove the underlying operation succeeded. Local activity logs describe helper events; they are not proof of completed work. Stopping the helper does not revoke permissions already granted or stop the assistant’s task.
OPTIONAL AI ENHANCEMENT
Prepare a reusable message, copy it, send it yourself in the intended conversation, then confirm the handoff. Set a follow-up limit; the default is three.
Automatic completion detection and message sending are not connected. This feature does not add a separate AI model or API key.
PERMISSION HELPER / STABLE 4.0.0
Start with Detect only. Make the next approval a deliberate choice.
