Questions on screen.
Answers with evidence.
I'm exploring a tool that could help people understand questions displayed on a screen, check them against reference material, and make better-informed choices.
Current public status: The connected ScreenIQ repository documents the intended experience, but does not yet contain an implemented or tested application. This is a project overview, not a live demo or a download.
Read the question. Check the source.
A screenshot may show a question and its answer choices, but it usually doesn't show the policy, handbook, or technical reference needed to answer responsibly. ScreenIQ is designed around that gap.
Don't guess what the evidence doesn't say.
Suggested answers should be traceable to supplied references. If the references don't establish an answer, the tool should say what's missing instead of inventing certainty.
What I'd like it to do.
- 01 / CAPTUREChoose the screen content
Explicitly provide a screenshot or select a screen to capture.
- 02 / REVIEWCheck the extracted text
Review and correct the question and every visible answer choice.
- 03 / EVIDENCECompare supplied references
Identify supported, contradicted, and unresolved options with explanations.
- 04 / DECIDEKeep the person in control
Let the user make the final choice in the original application.
- 05 / UNCERTAINTYShow what isn't known
Surface missing documentation and avoid inventing company policies.
- 06 / SAFETYNo automatic submission
The proposed initial scope excludes automatically clicking or submitting answers.
How it's different from MeetingIQ.
MeetingIQ ↗ focuses on questions that arise during spoken discussions. ScreenIQ focuses on questions visible on a screen, with an emphasis on the evidence needed to assess the available choices.
Still to figure out.
The app platform, capture and text-extraction approach, AI provider, supported reference formats, and data-handling rules have not yet been settled in the connected repository. I won't claim working capture, answer accuracy, or privacy guarantees until those parts are built and verified.
This is an independent personal project, not a connected employer tool or a source of verified policy decisions.
Have an idea for it?
